The club
Eight people. One court.
Sport as a social life, and clothes that work for both halves of the morning.
How it started
Eight friends, a public court in Ashgrove, Brisbane, and a long lunch after. Nobody could find a crewneck that looked right at both.
How it is made
Cut and sewn in a family factory in Portugal, 480 gsm cotton spun in Turkey, embroidered crest. Small runs, twice a year.
The colours
Cream, forest and clay, pulled from old club rooms and tennis whites left out in the sun.
The rule
No logos bigger than a crest. Nothing you would not wear to the table.
Come to the court.
Sunday mornings, 7am, Ashgrove. Members and anyone who turns up.
